LeibTour gives you multiple ways to pay for your accommodation, so you can choose whatever works best for your budget and travel plans. Every payment method is protected by PCI DSS Level 1 compliance and SSL encryption — the same standard used by major banks worldwide.

Accepted Payment Methods

Credit & Debit Cards

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, and JCB are all accepted. Your card details are securely processed and your booking request is submitted for the LeibTour team’s manual review.

Bank Transfer

Pay by bank transfer and save an extra €25 on top of any accommodation discount already applied. Best value option for planned trips.

Cryptocurrency

Pay with Bitcoin or Ethereum via BitPay. A great option if you prefer decentralised payments or want to avoid currency conversion fees.

PayPal

Available on selected properties. Look for the PayPal icon at checkout to see if it applies to your booking.

Cash

Accepted where available, up to a legal maximum of €999 per transaction. Confirm availability with the host before arrival.
LeibTour does not accept Klarna or Scalapay. These buy-now-pay-later services add a 2–3% processing fee that would be passed on to you — we’ve chosen to keep those costs out of your booking.

Bank Transfer: The Extra €25 Saving

Paying by bank transfer is the most cost-effective payment method available on LeibTour. You save an extra €25 on top of any early booking discount already reflected in your displayed price. The BESMART coupon code (€10 off) is also exclusively available to bank transfer payers, so the savings can stack up quickly.
Combine a bank transfer payment with an early booking discount for maximum savings. For example, booking 90+ days ahead (15% off) and paying by bank transfer gives you both discounts simultaneously.

Full Payment vs. Partial Payment (Deposit)

You can choose to pay in full at booking or split your payment into two steps.
Pay the entire amount upfront at checkout. Once the LeibTour team completes their manual review and confirms your reservation, no further payment steps are needed.Best for: Last-minute bookings, short stays, or anyone who prefers a clean, one-step process.

Card Authorisation and Holds

When you pay by card, LeibTour places a temporary hold on your funds while your booking is being confirmed. Here’s how that works depending on your card type:
If your booking is not confirmed for any reason, you will not be charged. The held amount is released automatically — no action is required on your part, though your bank’s processing times may vary.

Additional Charges: What’s Not Included in Your Rate

Your accommodation rate covers the cost of the property itself. The following charges are separate and are not included in the nightly rate shown:
A one-time cleaning fee — typically around €30 + IVA — is set by the host and charged once per stay, regardless of how many nights you book. You’ll see this itemised clearly before you confirm payment.
The Balearic tourism tax is not collected by LeibTour and is not part of your online payment. You pay it directly to the property on check-in — the amount depends on your accommodation category and length of stay. It is a mandatory regional government charge.

Your Payment Security

All transactions on LeibTour are processed under PCI DSS Level 1 compliance — the highest certification level in the payments industry — and protected by SSL encryption. Your card details are never stored on LeibTour’s servers.
