LeibTour uses a request-based booking model, much like Airbnb — submitting a booking form does not instantly confirm your reservation. Every request goes through a manual review so the team can verify live pricing and availability before locking in your stay. Here’s exactly what to expect from start to finish.

How the booking process works

1

Browse and submit your request

Search available properties on leibtour.com and select the villa or apartment that suits your group. Fill in the booking form with your dates, number of guests, and contact details, then submit your request.
2

Manual review (up to 24 hours)

The LeibTour team reviews your request to confirm real-time availability and verify the displayed price. Because rates are dynamic and can change rapidly, this step protects you from paying an outdated price.
During high season (May–July) the team handles a higher volume of requests, so response times may be slightly longer than usual. Plan ahead and submit your request as early as possible.
3

Enter your credit card — status becomes PENDING

Once the team has reviewed your request, you’ll be prompted to enter a valid credit card. Your booking status changes to PENDING at this point. The card is used for authorization purposes even if you intend to pay by bank transfer — no charge is made at this stage.
4

Booking confirmed

After the authorization is processed and the team gives final approval, your booking status changes to CONFIRMED. You’ll receive a confirmation email containing your unique reference number.
5

Payment

You’ll complete payment according to the terms outlined at the time of booking — either by card or bank transfer.
6

Voucher sent 2 days before check-in

Two days before your arrival, the system automatically sends your travel voucher. It contains the property address (with GPS coordinates), check-in and check-out instructions, required documents, and emergency contact numbers.

Credit card requirement

You must provide a valid credit card to start the booking process, regardless of your chosen payment method. If you plan to pay by bank transfer, the card is still required for the initial authorization step — it will not be charged unless you choose to pay by card.
Credit card holder ≠ reservation holder? If the name on the credit card differs from the name on the reservation, you must complete a credit card authorization form and email it to booking@leibtour.com before your booking can proceed.

Holding a booking for 3 hours

If you need a short window to arrange payment or confirm details with your group, LeibTour can hold your booking for up to 3 hours without payment, subject to availability.
Booking holds are not recommended during high season (May–July). Demand for popular villas is extremely high, and a property can be confirmed to another guest the moment a hold expires. If you’re booking for peak dates, complete the payment process as quickly as possible.

Understanding the Acceptance Score

Every listing on LeibTour displays an Acceptance Score — the percentage of booking requests for that property that were confirmed over the last two years. Use this figure to gauge how likely your request is to be approved before you commit time to the process.
Listings with a high Acceptance Score (90%+) are your safest bet if you need certainty. A lower score doesn’t mean rejection is inevitable, but it’s worth having a backup option in mind.

What happens if your booking is rejected

Occasional rejections do happen — usually because a price was loaded in error or the property became unavailable between your submission and the team’s review. If this occurs:
  • The LeibTour team will notify you within 24 hours of your submission.
  • No charge will be made to your card.
  • The team will do their best to suggest comparable alternatives at a similar price point.
Rejections are rare for properties with high Acceptance Scores. If you’re booking well in advance for peak-season dates, submit your request early to minimise the risk.

Guest rules and restrictions

Stag and hen parties

Stag and hen parties are strictly prohibited across all LeibTour properties without exception. Any booking found to involve a stag or hen party will be cancelled immediately, and cancellation penalties will apply. Please book responsibly.

Maximum guest limits

Every property has a clearly stated maximum occupancy. Exceeding this limit carries a penalty of €100 per extra guest, per night — charged directly by the property.

Stay within the limit

Only count guests who will actually sleep at the property. The maximum occupancy shown on the listing is the hard ceiling — not a suggestion.

No external visitors

Guests not listed on your booking are not permitted on the property at any time. This rule is enforced by property owners and applies to daytime visitors as well as overnight stays.

Frequently asked questions

No. Submitting the form opens a request that the LeibTour team reviews manually. Your booking is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation email with a reference number.
Yes — but you still need to provide a valid credit card for the authorization step. Once your booking is confirmed, you can complete payment by bank transfer if that option is available for your reservation.
The team aims to respond within 24 hours. During high season (May–July) it may take a little longer, so factor this into your planning timeline.
Fill in the credit card authorization form and email it to booking@leibtour.com. The team will review it before proceeding with your booking.
