Unlike instant-booking platforms, LeibTour manually reviews every reservation before confirming it. This process protects you from price errors and ensures genuine availability — but it does mean your booking goes through a short review window before it’s locked in. Here’s exactly what to expect at every stage.
LeibTour manually reviews every booking request before issuing a confirmation. This isn’t a technical limitation — it’s a deliberate process that allows the team to verify that the rate is correct, the property is genuinely available for your exact dates, and there are no conflicts with other reservations. This approach protects you from the automated errors that can occur on larger platforms, where overbookings and price mistakes are often only caught after a “confirmed” booking has already been issued.
The standard review window is up to 24 hours from the time you submit your request and enter your payment details.
During high season (May–July), demand is at its peak and response times may be longer than usual. If you’re booking for this period, submit your request as early as possible and avoid assuming you have a confirmed stay until you receive the official confirmation email.
If 24 hours have passed and you haven’t heard back, contact the team at booking@leibtour.com with your name, dates, and property.
PENDING means your booking request has been received, your payment details have been captured, and the reservation is currently under manual review by the LeibTour team.At this stage:
  • Your card has not been charged
  • The booking is not yet confirmed
  • The property is being checked for real availability at the quoted rate
Once the review is complete, the status will update to CONFIRMED and you’ll receive a confirmation email. If the request cannot be approved, the team will contact you within 24 hours to explain and explore alternatives.
In rare cases, a booking request may be declined — typically because of a pricing discrepancy or because the property became unavailable in the window between your request and the review. If this happens:
  1. The LeibTour team will contact you within 24 hours to explain.
  2. Your payment will not be processed.
  3. The team will do their best to suggest alternative properties or dates that meet your needs.
Rejections are uncommon. You can gauge the likelihood of approval in advance by checking the Acceptance Score on the listing — a higher score means a higher probability of confirmation.
First, check your spam or junk folder — confirmation emails from booking@leibtour.com occasionally get filtered by email providers. If the email isn’t there either, contact the team directly:
  • Email: booking@leibtour.com
  • Include: your full name, the property name (or description), and your requested check-in/check-out dates
You can also log in and check your booking status directly at leibtour.com/search-form/booking-list/.
Yes — LeibTour allows a 3-hour hold on a property without entering payment details, giving you time to check your plans before committing.
During high season, a 3-hour hold is not recommended. Properties in Ibiza and Formentera are in high demand between May and July, and a property you’ve held can be released and snapped up by another guest before your hold expires. If your dates are in peak season, it’s safer to submit your booking request with payment details straight away.
You can view all your current and past bookings — including their status — by logging in to your account and visiting:leibtour.com/search-form/booking-list/Here you’ll see whether each booking is PENDING, CONFIRMED, or any other status, along with the relevant property details and dates.
The calendar shows potential availability — dates that are not currently blocked — but this is not a guarantee of real-time inventory. Actual availability is confirmed only after the manual review process is complete. This is why LeibTour uses an Acceptance Score on each listing: it tells you what percentage of recent booking requests for that property were successfully confirmed. A score of 90% means 9 in 10 requests went through — giving you a realistic sense of your chances before you commit.
If a property has a lower Acceptance Score and your dates are non-negotiable, consider requesting a couple of alternative properties simultaneously to improve your chances of securing accommodation.
Full check-in details — including the property’s exact address, key collection instructions, and any arrival guidance — are sent in your confirmation email once your booking moves from PENDING to CONFIRMED.If you’ve been confirmed but haven’t received check-in instructions, or if your arrival is approaching and you still have questions, contact booking@leibtour.com with your booking reference.
