# Modify or Cancel Your LeibTour Booking: Fees & Refunds
> Learn how to change dates, update guest details, and cancel your LeibTour booking — including refund policies and applicable fees.
Plans change. Whether you need to adjust your arrival date, update who's staying, or cancel altogether, LeibTour has a clear process for handling modifications. Most changes carry a small admin fee, and refunds depend on the cancellation policy attached to your booking at the time you confirmed. Here's everything you need to know.
Yes, date changes are possible subject to availability and host approval. A **date change fee of €20 + VAT** applies per modification request.
To request a date change, contact the team at [booking@leibtour.com](mailto:booking@leibtour.com) with your booking reference and your preferred new dates. The team will check availability and confirm whether the change can be accommodated.
Shortening your stay (reducing the number of nights) is treated as a **partial cancellation**, not a date change. Your booking's cancellation policy will apply to the nights you're removing, and a refund — if any — will be calculated accordingly.
Yes. You can update the guest names or adjust the number of guests in your party for a fee of **€20 + VAT** per modification.
Note that the number of guests must remain within the property's stated maximum occupancy. If you need to add guests beyond the allowed limit, the change may not be possible.
Stag and hen parties are **strictly prohibited** across all LeibTour properties. Any booking found to involve a stag or hen party will be cancelled in accordance with the host's terms.
Your refund entitlement depends entirely on the **cancellation policy** that was attached to your booking when you confirmed. There are three main policy types:

| **Non-Refundable** | No refund for any reason, at any time. |
| **Semi-Flexible** | Cancel before the applicable window (30, 15, 7, or 3 days before check-in) to receive a refund of up to 70% of the accommodation cost. |
| **Fully Flexible** | Cancel up to 3 days before check-in for a full refund of the accommodation cost. |

Non-Refundable bookings do not qualify for a refund under any circumstances — this is a condition set by the property owner, not LeibTour, and it cannot be overridden.
If your situation is exceptional and you need to process a refund outside of standard policy terms, an **out-of-procedure refund fee of €35 + VAT** applies, and the outcome is not guaranteed. Contact [booking@leibtour.com](mailto:booking@leibtour.com) to discuss your options.
If there's any chance your plans might change, always check the cancellation policy before booking and consider choosing a Semi-Flexible or Fully Flexible rate — even if it costs slightly more upfront.
Cancellations initiated by LeibTour are extremely rare. In the unlikely event that your confirmed booking cannot be honoured — due to an unforeseen issue at the property, for example — the team will contact you as soon as possible to arrange an alternative property of equivalent quality or a full refund.

Yes. LeibTour charges a modest administrative fee for most modification types:

Changing your property entirely, or reducing the length of your stay, is treated as a partial cancellation rather than a modification — your cancellation policy will apply.
All modification requests must be made in writing. Email the team at [booking@leibtour.com](mailto:booking@leibtour.com) with:
1. Your **booking reference number**
2. The **full name** the booking is under
3. A clear description of the **change you're requesting**
4. Your **preferred new dates or details** (if applicable)
The team will respond to confirm whether the change is possible, confirm the applicable fee, and process the modification once you've approved it.
Group bookings are subject to **separate cancellation terms** that are agreed at the time of booking and detailed in your group booking contract. These terms may differ significantly from the standard Non-Refundable, Semi-Flexible, and Fully Flexible policies.
